Drawing on her experience as a school-board trustee, Victoria will promote high-quality education, career and technical training, teacher support, campus safety, and stronger partnerships between schools and local employers.
She will also work to reduce unnecessary regulations that make it harder for small businesses to grow, hire employees, and create good-paying jobs.
California has spent billions of dollars on homelessness while the crisis continues to worsen. Simply providing housing without addressing the underlying causes has failed to produce lasting results.
Victoria believes mental illness and drug addiction are the primary root causes of chronic homelessness. She will support programs that require treatment, recovery, accountability, and a clear path toward stability and independence.
Her approach will combine compassion with firmness by helping people access treatment while refusing to accept policies that leave individuals suffering on sidewalks, in encampments, or trapped in addiction.
